Marta Leite lives and works between Lisbon and Berlin.
Her work is informed by an acceptance of movement, instability and the ephemeral, struggling against a hierarchy imposed by the will of stability and control that can be felt within the History of mankind. She is interested in proposing alternatives, which unbalance those stable structures, paradigms, and conventions. Language and landscape are two of the fields on which she lays those reflections. Graduated in Sculpture and New Media, at the Universität der Künst Berlin (2010). Exhibits regularly in Berlin, Barcelona and Lisbon.
Fernando Pérez Molinari lives and works in Berlin. He studied painting in Universidad Católica (Peru) and teached in several schools and universities. He is activ in theatre projects, in which he uses his light sculptures.

Veranstaltungsraum
Since the WerkStadt was founded in an abandoned pharmacy in the summer of 2008 we have had events of all kind including concerts, theater, poetry slams, silent disco, lectures, meetings, and of course wild parties.
During the Covid-19 lockdowns we were busy renovating that abandoned pharmacy for the umpteenth time... this time with a small stage. We are always looking for new event formats so please contact us if you are looking for somewhere to experiment and find an audience.
