What do our choices about art materials, methods, career steps, and the ins and outs of “making art” as an identity mean (or how do they fundamentally change) in the face of a steady stream of information and headlines filled with climate emergencies, species extinctions, full-scale military conflicts, displaced peoples, economic recessions, volatile energy markets, and an overall eroding sense of social cohesion in our neighborhoods and cities...
